Las nominaciones al Emmy 2018 han sido reveladas. Los encargados de anunciar a los nominados fueron Samira Wiley, de The Handmaid’s Tale y Ryan Eggold, de New Amsterdam. Este año fueron muchas las sorpresas pues Netflix encabezó con 112 de las nominaciones, seguido por HBO que consiguió 108. O sea, es la primera vez que HBO no lidera a todos los nominados en después de 18 años consecutivos. Eso sí, las series de HBO Game of Thrones (22 nominaciones), Westworld (21 nominaciones) y The Handmaid´s Tale (20 nominaciones) fueron las más repetidas durante la lectura de nominados.
